The Tattoo World Is
Burning
Artists? Burned out.
Clients? Drowning in endless scrolls.
Everyone’s pretending it’s fine — it’s not.

Real Control
Tattoo requests come in as half-sentences. Styles don’t match. Calendars are a mess. Booking happens in one app, payment in another, and the conversation disappears in between. Nobody knows what’s going on — not the artist, not the client.

Real Visibility
Talented artists go unseen. Styles get buried under reels. Solo work is dismissed without a studio name. Algorithms reward noise — not skill. And clients can’t tell the difference.

Real Trust
Clients don’t know how to reach out. They’re afraid to say the wrong thing — or get ignored. They scroll bios, guess who’s real, and hope they don’t get burned.
Payments feel risky. Projects feel vague. And half the time, they give up.

I’ve worked with enough platforms to know bullshit from real tools. But this app keeps things good - real portfolios, booked sessions via calendar, secure payments through escrow. I don’t wanna talk money over Instagram anymore. Souls system is interesting too. One thing though - older customers sometimes struggle with signing up. Maybe add simpler onboarding? But for me, it’s perfect. Clients don’t flake. I focus on work.
Pros:
-
Solid booking system
-
Souls = cool concept if used right
Cons:
-
Not super intuitive for older clients
-
Could use more language/localization options

What I liked was it didn’t feel like I had to prove myself with reels or TikTok nonsense. Just my work. The ratings don’t feel like a popularity contest, they actually reflect the sessions. I’ve had quiet clients leave thoughtful reviews that NEVER happens on Instagram. The only thing is some clients still don’t understand how Souls work, so I’ve had to explain it a few times. But whatever, they catch on quick.
Pros:
-
Booking with deposit up front
-
No awkward pricing convos
-
Clean profile and portfolio
Cons:
-
Needs stronger visibility tools for newcomers
-
A few bugs during beta testing but nothing major

I’m not gonna lie, I was skeptical at first. Another fuckin platform? But INKLO felt different. It wasn’t tryna be cute it just worked. Clients stopped ghostin me after deposits. No more DMs like ‘how much for a lil butterfly’. The whole vibe is cleaner. Escrow gives ‘em peace of mind, and me too, to be honest. I had one no-show and the system handled it before I even opened my messages.
Pros:
-
Simple to use and get paid
-
Escrow payment
-
Reviews with tattoo photos
Cons:
-
I wish the UI had dark mode
